This support group is for adult children and caregivers (18 and over) who are caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia.

Support groups create a safe, confidential, supportive environment or community and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants

Those caring for a friend / family member are welcome to attend the Family Caregiver Support Group, 2nd Monday of each month at 2 p.m. for free support and information at the Chetco Activity Center 550 Chetco Ln, 97415. FREE respite is offered !

The primary purpose of this research program is to study how teaching caregivers about dementia and building their caregiving and self-care skills will impact caregivers and the Veterans they love.

The Highland Lakes Lewy Body Dementia Caregivers Support Group is open to caregivers, family and friends of patients diagnosed with Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB) and Parkinson's Disease with Dementia (PDD).
