For individuals caring for their loved ones with Alzheimer's Disease or Dementia. Meets 2nd Wednesday of the month from 1:00- 2:00 pm.

This support group is for adult children and caregivers (18 and over) who are caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia.

Support groups create a safe, confidential, supportive environment or community and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants

Those caring for a friend / family member are welcome to attend the Family Caregiver Support Group, 2nd Monday of each month at 2 p.m. for free support and information at the Chetco Activity Center 550 Chetco Ln, 97415. FREE respite is offered !

This support group is FREE & open to everyone...Due to the sensitive discussions, we ask that you please RSVP prior to attending.

All family caregivers are welcome who are taking care of an adult family member, friend or neighbor.

The primary purpose of this research program is to study how teaching caregivers about dementia and building their caregiving and self-care skills will impact caregivers and the Veterans they love.
