Grandfamilies of El Mirage

Mountain Empire Older Citizens, Inc.(MEOC) is designated as the area agency on aging and public transit provider for Wise, Lee and Scott Counties and City of Norton in the southwestern tip of Virginia in the mountains of central Appalachia.

We're a support group for families effected by Autism Spectrum Disorders. We provide guest speakers on specific topics of discussion. Or sometimes we just sit and ask each other opinions and vent or cry.

This meeting is open to all caregivers supporting patients and family members living with various mental disorders.

As caregivers we give and give, but we need care too. This group offers support and networking in a safe place.
