Caregiver Discussion Group is held the first Tuesday of the Month at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Group members are caring for loved ones in some stage of Alzheimer's/dementia. Members are 55 or older, caring for a spouse, partner or parent. Group meets weekly for 90 minutes. Pre-registration required.

This meeting is open to all caregivers supporting patients and family members living with various mental disorders.

Care for the Caregiver Support Groups
Support groups are offered on a monthly basis. Support groups provide an opportunity for caregivers to share their experiences, learn tips from peers and network with others.

The Caregiver Respite Program began in 2012 with a grant from the William and Helen Thomas Charitable Trust. Since the inception of this program thirty caregivers have participated in the program. Caregivers may call to request an application.

Boston Senior Home Care is a private, non-profit organization that provides case management, service planning, and social support services to low-income persons who wish to remain in the community but require assistance to do so.

Support group led by registered nurse. Anyone who participates in the care for someone with dementia is invited to share stories, learn new ideas, hear others' stories.
