KIPDA Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living
The Division of Social Services addresses issues as varied as the Consumer Directed Options program for disabled persons of all ages, to the Home Care program for frail elders in need of assistance in order to remain in their homes.
KIPDA also provides Health Promotion Programs which provide education on healthy choices and lifestyles. These programs are coordinated by KIPDA Social Services staff and funded by a variety of federal, state and local dollars as well as grants from private and public agencies.
The KIPDA Area Agency on Aging and Independent Living (AAAIL) is part of the Social Services Division of KIPDA designated by the Kentucky Office of Aging Services to coordinate services for elders in the seven county area which includes: Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer and Trimble.
