Alabama Tombigbee Regional Commission
The Alabama-Tombigbee Area Agency on Aging is part of a national aging network that provides many services to the region’s senior and disabled population. For more than twenty five years, the ATRC AAA has been responsible for assessing the needs of older persons in the ten county region; distributing federal Older Americans Act funds for the provision of services to older adults; helping agencies and local governments plan services for older persons; and providing information about available resources to older adults and their caregivers.
Through contracts with various service providing agencies throughout the region, ATRC provides numerous programs and services designed to meet the needs of individuals 60 and older in Choctaw, Clarke, Conecuh, Dallas, Marengo, Monroe, Perry, Sumter, Washington and Wilcox Counties.
